Welcome

I am an environmental philosopher, plant enthusiast, teacher, podcaster, and artist/craftsperson.

I earned my Ph.D. in philosophy from Temple University in Fall 2023. My dissertation addresses care ethics and the inclusion of plants. I argue that plants should be included in our ethical frameworks of care and offer three case studies (bonsai, tomato plants, and giant sequoia trees) to which I apply an inclusive care ethic. In addition to my AOS in environmental ethics and feminist philosophy, I am passionate about aesthetics, ethics more broadly, and social and political philosophy.
